What is San Frooklyn?

San Frooklyn is an idea, stemming from Richard Florida’s theory on a “creative class”, highlighting the nerdy artsy bond between the young demographic in San Francisco and New York…a “messy urbanism” where this new creative class can earn a living.

Conveniently, we also happen to live in both these cities.

So we decided to pool our own creative class affinities – art, architecture, urbanism, technology, music, film, invention – into a catchall of cool things, both found on the internets and as we walk down the street. San Frooklyn may be based in the two sister cities of the coasts, but spans across the country to uncover new and dynamic things that are relevant to the creative class.
